Model Multitool Project

For my final project in the intro to CAD course, I needed to create a detailed 3D model of a real-world tool. I chose to recreate a multitool I had. In order to do this, I needed to disassemble the tool, record accurate measurements of each component, and re-assemble it all in SolidWorks.

Focusing on one part at a time, and making use of the various tools available and skills I developed throughout the semester (mirroring, multiple configurations, sheet metals, complex mating, etc.) I was able to successfully reconstruct a working model of my multitool. The model is complete with drawings for each of the parts, as well as an assembly drawing.
